Jergens Body BB Cream

I was walking thru Walmart lotion aisle and noticed that Jergens had an endcap with their new BB Body Cream. I bought this for 13.95 in the shade for light skin tones. It says it will have 5 beautifying benefits in one moisturizer for a flawless appearance.

The container has 7.5 FL Oz. It comes in an easy squeeze tube, and has a nice thick consistency.
The packaging says you can notice 5 benefits in 5 days. Those benefits listed are:

1. Hydrates & smoothes
2. Brightens & illuminates
3. Evens skin tone
4. Visibly firms skin
5. Minimizes appearance of imperfections

I was very interested in these 5 benefits it said could achieve. I have very dry skin, no matter what kind of lotion, body cream, body butter, etc., so I thought this would be a great product to try.

I have actually been using this for about 10 days. and have noticed a big difference. I forgot to take a before picture of my skin, but I have definitely noticed a difference. My skin has felt so soft and looks nice and hydrated. It feels soft and I love that this product doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your skin. I will be updating in a few weeks to talk about any other changes I have noticed!

Lets try it on! JCP,Sears,Target,Walmart

I recently went to a few different places and got to try on a variety of clothes! I ended up buying only the tank and jean shorts that were the first outfit I tried on. I enjoy doing these kinds of videos and enjoy watching these kinds of vids, because it lets me see some items that I have seen online and actually get to see how they look on! Hope you enjoy this video!

Wet N' Wild Balm Stain

So I was in strolling thru Rite Aid and decided to look at the Wet N' Wild end cap. I always tend to buy a few of their lipsticks every so often, because I'm addicted to them! While looking at the lipsticks I came across their "new" balm stains. I bought only one out of the six colors available because my store only had one color left in stock -_-. I bought the color "A Stiff Pink" which is a bright pink. I feel this is going to be a great color for the summer. It is nice and bright.

I really liked the simplicity of the packaging. The font is very easy to read, and I love that the color of the tube matches the color of the product. This makes it easy to see what color you're reaching for without having to read the name. It ha a plastic lid that you pop on and off. You do have to be a little careful not to put the cap on too tight or it can break. It is controlled by a twist bottom to have more product come up.
When first applied, the product was super creamy, and when I was finished applying it stayed on my lips as a nice gloss color.
I wore this for about 2 hours and it looked like this....
It ended up looking like a matte lipstick color. My lips themselves still felt very soft and moistened.
After I had lunch, I noticed that the top lips started to fade a little bit more then the bottom lip. Overall this product gets a rating of 3.5/5! I think that it does transfer a little too easily for my liking ( I ended up staining my blouse) The color payoff is awesome and the way my lips felt while wearing this product was very satisfying! They weren't dried out at all. I hope to find the other colors soon and be able to swatch those too. In the mean time here are some swatch pics on my arm with and without flash...

Baby, I'm a window shopperrr

A couple days ago I went on a window shopping trip. What is a window shopping trip you might ask? It's when you go to the store and try on a bunch of clothes but you don't really and up buying anything. Reasons why you might not buy anything you might not like what you trying on, the fit might not be right or you just weren't feeling it or sometimes you just don't feel like buying anything. Even though I didn't buy anything I did manage to try on a few pieces. I tried stuff on at Sears and at Lane Bryant.
First I will show you what I tried on at Sears and then Lane Bryant.
At Sears I tried on only shirts.
The first shirt I tried on was a grey stretchy shirt with three-quarter sleeves. It had rhinestone designs on the top of the sleeves. I like the length of the shirt and how it felt it was really comfy.

Next I tried on this awesome grey shirt with leather trim on the sleeves. It had a bedazzled flower cross on the front. This shirt was ok the material felt a little rough, but overall a really cute shirt.
I tried this shirt because it looked adorable. It was the wrong size and it just drowned me. Overall the shirt was really pretty tho. If only they had my size. It was a burgundy color, with a Hi low hem and a lace design in the back. It was just wayyy too big on me.
The last item I tried on at Sears was this fringe long vest. I fell in love with this vest. It looks like it would be perfect to wear in spring or to wear to any music festival this summer. The back design closed me on this. I loved the one button detail on the front. The length was also perfect.

Next I went to Lane Bryant and tried on a couple pieces. Both tops and bottoms 👍👚👖

First I tried on this coral hi low skirt. It had a bunched elastic waist. I felt it was flattering considering it cinched in my waist. The color was very appropriate for spring. Here I paired it with my tank top if was wearing.
Next I tried on 2 pairs of jeans. The only thing I did end up getting a size too big. First I tried on these dark wash boyfriend style jeans. They fit me nice on my waist, I liked I normally don't like the ripped jeans but the rips in these were very subtle.
The last 2 things I tried on were this striped shirt and a lighter wash boyfriend jean. I didn't take a pic of the top of the jeans they had 2 buttons to help with tummy control. I liked the color on these jeans. They are easy to dress up or down. The shirt was very comfy and had adjustable straps. I am a sucker for stripes. They are my obsession and is what drew me in to this shirt. Overall I tried on a lot of things that I generally did like, which is very rare for me. Until next time! Bye bye xoxoxo

Forever21+ Haul

Today I went to the mall with my mom to go look for things to send over to Nicaragua for my relatives. While shopping for my relatives I found a few items that I bought at Forever21 and tried most of them on. I haven't had such a successful shopping trip in such a long time.

These two pictures above show the things I bought that I didn't need to try on. I got the 2 camis that are beige and a blush color. They were on sale for $2.80 each and I got them in a size 2X. I also got a cute head wrap that has black and white stripes for $3.80 and a travel case for liquids that come in  a cute pink leopard print pouch for $2.00.

Don't mind the awkward phone camera pose, I bought this adorable polka dotted crop top. I got it in a size 3X and it was $9.80. I tried it on with this cute royal blue skater skirt that I hiked up high waisted. I loved the material of the skirt but just couldn't see myself wearing it out much. But for those interested, the skirt was $15.90. The shirt on the other hand I feel I can pair with high waisted pants, leggings, skirts, etc. Plus with the warm weather coming along I can wear this out a lot more.
I can't believe I am feeling comfortable enough to post this pic but EFF IT! I actually liked how this bikini looked on me. I tried it on and felt beautiful. Plus it showed off my tattoo =] I liked how I felt supported in this bikini. It did miracles in concealing my tummy. And for $27.80 its a steal, but I didn't purchase it because It wasn't something I am in desperate need of at the moment.

The last piece I bought is this tribal aztec print crop top. I tried it on in store with a striped pencil skirt, because I needed a bottom to try on with this =] I bought the top in a 1X and it was a steal for $6.80. I loved that it still fit a little loose so it wasn't as fitted as the polka dot one from before. I really loved the sheer part in the front.

I also went to the Icing store in the mall and managed to get these adorable bow earrings for $2.00. They are so cute!
This concludes my shopping trip/haul from Forever21. Hope you enjoyed!

Colgate Optic White Voxbox

Yesterday I was so happy to get my Voxbox by Influenster. If you don't know what Influenster is I will tell you! Pretty much you sign up and review different products you have used. Based off of what reviews you have made you might qualify for a voxbox. What is a voxbox you ask? Its a box Influenster sends out with samples of products similar to what you use. What you have to do is complete various tasks and post your reviews and what you think of the products sent. Yesterday I received my box from Colgate and it included the optic white toothpaste, toothbrush and the new whitening pen. The Colgate website states, "The Colgate® Optic White™ Toothbrush + Whitening Pen provides a unique way to integrate effective whitening into the daily oral care routine. This premium toothbrush is specially designed with polishing bristles and whitening cups to help remove surface stains. The built-in whitening pen, that conveniently stores inside the toothbrush's handle, contains an advanced whitening gel that adheres immediately to teeth after application and starts working on contact. The whitening gel penetrates to deeply whiten teeth for a brilliant, whiter smile. It only takes seconds to apply - no waiting or rinsing."
The motto for this product is "Brush. Whiten. Go." I used this for the first time last night and I felt like my teeth were so clean. I then applied the whitening gel and I was so happy that I didn't have to wait for it to dry or keep my mouth open while it dries. So far I like this product, and am exciting about seeing results. We will see if it really does show results in 2 days like it states. I'll keep updating.

Addicted to HEROINE!

One of my many gifts from valentine's day that my boyfriend got me was MAC Heroine, and must I say that I am totally addicted to it. Its the perfect color to dress up or dress down. I paired it with a light smokey eye yesterday and I was loving it! I made sure that the main focus stayed strictly on my lips. I had been wanting this color since it was Limited Edition, and I was so happy that they made it part of the permanent collection.

Plus size fashion

   So I was watching an older vlog on youtube by Imfashionablylate from when she went to vintageortacky's meet up in santa clara last year. She mentioned in the beginning of the vlog about how limited plus size fashion is. This actually got me thinking and realized that yes it is very true. Most of the places that do sell plus size clothing usually end up costing an arm and a leg. I know that when I have special occasions coming up I dread having to go find something to wear, and heres why ;
1) I get frustrated very easily,
2) sizes are limited,
3) sizes are usually off,
4) clothing ends up costing an arm and a leg
Sometimes I get lucky and find things on sale that fit okay, but nothing is usually perfect.

I have a love/hate relationship with Torrid at my mall. I say love/hate because when I do find what I'm looking for I am happy with my purchase. I say hate because there are many times I look online then go into the store and the stuff is nowhere to be seen. The same thing happens at Forever 21, in their plus size section. It is a very small selection and not much variety. I have gotten lucky at times at Kmart, Walmart and Ross, but most times I usually have a hard time finding things. Sometimes I end up finding things in a bigger size and I will end up tailoring it to my own body. Thanks to Pinterest and Youtube I have been able to learn how to do anything to my clothes.

Being a plus size girl I do feel many times when I am shopping that people sometimes avoid helping me, or are just stand offish. It comes out to maybe having plus size girls feel unwanted at times. I make sure I don't let this get to me. I have learned to have thick skin and embrace my curves.

So to all my plus size people out there make sure that whatever you are wearing whether it be a bath robe or some top of the line outift just be fierce in it. Remember to always love yourself!
