Plus size fashion

   So I was watching an older vlog on youtube by Imfashionablylate from when she went to vintageortacky's meet up in santa clara last year. She mentioned in the beginning of the vlog about how limited plus size fashion is. This actually got me thinking and realized that yes it is very true. Most of the places that do sell plus size clothing usually end up costing an arm and a leg. I know that when I have special occasions coming up I dread having to go find something to wear, and heres why ;
1) I get frustrated very easily,
2) sizes are limited,
3) sizes are usually off,
4) clothing ends up costing an arm and a leg
Sometimes I get lucky and find things on sale that fit okay, but nothing is usually perfect.

   I have a love/hate relationship with Torrid at my mall. I say love/hate because when I do find what I'm looking for I am happy with my purchase. I say hate because there are many times I look online then go into the store and the stuff is nowhere to be seen. The same thing happens at Forever 21, in their plus size section. It is a very small selection and not much variety. I have gotten lucky at times at Kmart, Walmart and Ross, but most times I usually have a hard time finding things. Sometimes I end up finding things in a bigger size and I will end up tailoring it to my own body. Thanks to Pinterest and Youtube I have been able to learn how to do anything to my clothes.

   Being a plus size girl I do feel many times when I am shopping that people sometimes avoid helping me, or are just stand offish. It comes out to maybe having plus size girls feel unwanted at times. I make sure I don't let this get to me. I have learned to have thick skin and embrace my curves.

   So to all my plus size people out there make sure that whatever you are wearing whether it be a bath robe or some top of the line outift just be fierce in it. Remember to always love yourself!
